I would like to send the book – how original and surprising – 100 Artists' Manifestos (edited by Alex Danchev for Penguin Books), which has been a great source of inspiration for me during the last 2 years and my "bible" in the beginning of my research for Manifesto.
Artists have written those texts in an early phase of life, mostly when they were still not famous at all. These texts are so striking because of their virulent rebellious spirit and their pure and unspoiled power. They are documents of the will for changing the entire world along with the art but also documents of a great vulnerability, often written in an early moment in life when you still need to scream out louder to be heard. These texts are beautiful poetry, fearless utopian thoughts and documents of unlimited curiosity and love for the experiment of life and the challenge of creation.
